I have a really painful arthritis condition and a slipped disc in my back so as you can imagine, it has been very difficult for me to get a good night’s sleep for a long time. Also my partner can't get a good night’s sleep because of my tossing and turning all night. It even reached a point where I moved into another room so as Di could get her sleep. Di is one of these people who goes to bed at 9pm on the dot each night and must get a full 8 hours uninterrupted sleep or she just can't function the next day.

We actually went to several bed shops and tried many beds. Then we wandered off to Captain Snooze to complete our research and hunt for the "ultimate bed". We tried several beds at Captain Snooze and found a similar suitable bed to the one we found at the other shops. Then we were introduced to Kingsdown. When the salesperson started to explain the attributes of the bed and the research and development and, the quality of materials that went into the bed, I thought to myself . . . “this is like having a having a car with a jet engine to do the shopping around Cairns.” It is all very well but what's the point. A bed can only do so much.

This of course is where I was wrong. You did convince us that this bed was really the best way to go, but I knew that the real test wouldn't come until we had slept on the bed for some weeks. Without a doubt, now that we have been sleeping on this Kingsdown bed for a couple of weeks, we have nothing but praise for the bed. I can't remember how long it has been since I have slept so soundly and comfortably. I am waking up earlier now than I used to, but feel very refreshed and revitalised. I have had enough sleep.

Even with my daytime aches and pains, the bed doesn't place any pressure of any one part of the body regardless of what position you are laying in and often I wake in the morning in the same position that I went to sleep in. I do sleep very soundly. I don't annoy my partner by wriggling around all night and when we do moved towards the centre, the bed supports both of our weights without rolling us in towards each other. The bed is a great height from the floor and is well supported on the edges. Basically you can sleep on every part of the bed and feel the same great level of comfort.

Di and I both say now that buying this bed is the best investment we have ever made. It just makes you feel so alive when you wake up and you are keen to get on with the day. Some nights we even go to bed early just because it is a great experience to lay on the bed. People spend thousands of dollars on cars and holidays and whatever else you can think of but to most including myself until the Kingsdown experience, not on a bed. This has changed for me now. It is so important to your whole life to get a great night's sleep. We tell everyone how good it is although some do screw up their noses a bit when we say how much it cost. I would thoroughly recommend this bedding system to everyone and particularly those who are suffering aches and pains, are light sleepers and those who just enjoy a good sleep.

With this bed now both Di and I "Sleep to Live" and "Live to Sleep". I am sure this bed will just take off in Australia. It is a wonderful product.
